Manthan Shah, M.D. joins Retina Services

We are pleased to announce that Manthan Shah, M.D. has joined Retina Services of Illinois, LLC as of October 1, 2019.  We welcome Dr. Shah as his dedication and experience in providing outstanding patient-centered retinal care throughout the Chicagoland area is aligned with our practice, vision and core values.

Dr. Shah is a seasoned retinal surgeon.  He most recently served as an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at Loyola University Medical Center from 2016 to 2019.  He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO), the American Medical Association, and the Chicago Ophthalmology Society where he has served as a Board Member since 2017.

With nearly 35 years of experience, Retina Services continues to be one of the oldest and most well-established retinal practices in the Chicago area.  Our board-certified physicians specialize in the medical and surgical treatment of macular, retinal and vitreous disorders. We provide comprehensive management of retinal and vitreous conditions including macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal detachment, macular disorders, infectious diseases, trauma, uveitis and ocular oncology.

We value the long-standing referral relationships established with other physicians.  We are mindful that referring physicians will continue to work with patients over the course of a lifetime and that we are only entrusted with responsibility for patients during a special occurrence or emergent situation.  We work hard to maintain relationships with other physicians and their patients by delivering patient-centered care with open and direct communication.

Retina Services physicians and staff are committed and dedicated to providing patient care on a 24/7 basis.  We practice from state-of-the art surgical facilities and medical offices conveniently located throughout the Chicago Metropolitan area including a newly developed state-of-the-art office in Lake Zurich.
